Privacy Policy

USMLE Adviser (www.usmleadviser.com) is run by Dr. Adnan Memon, MD. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

Free flowchart pack. When you sign up for the free pack we save your email address, the exam you chose (Step 1, Step 2 CK or Step 3), the date, and the page you signed up on. We use this to give you your download and to send occasional emails about USMLE Adviser flowcharts, study resources and offers.

MedFlowdle accounts. If you create a MedFlowdle account we store your email address, a securely hashed password (we never see or store the password itself), and your puzzle progress, scores and streak so they follow you across devices. If you play as a guest, your progress is stored only in your own browser.

Contact messages. If you contact us, we receive the details you send, such as your name, email and message, and use them only to reply.

Purchases. E-book payments are handled by our checkout provider. We do not see or store your card details.

Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. To stop spam, the signup form briefly uses a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit repeated attempts; it is not added to our email list.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver what you asked for (downloads, your MedFlowdle progress, replies to messages), to send occasional emails if you signed up, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

MedFlowdle uses a login cookie when you sign in, and your browser's local storage to remember guest progress. If we add website analytics in the future, we will describe it here before it goes live.

Third-party services

Pages may link to or embed content from YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and UWorld. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

How long we keep it

We keep your email on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. MedFlowdle account data is kept while your account exists.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails or by writing to usmleadviser4142@gmail.com. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

USMLE Adviser is meant for medical students and graduates. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
